SOLEIMA

Many know Soleima's vocals from pop, English-language RnB songs such as 'Cheers for the Tears', 'Breathe' and 'Roses'. But the singer and songwriter – whose real name is Sarah Mariegaard – started out in 2006 as part of the Aarhus hip-hop collective Flødeklinikken.

In 2015, she released her own music for the first time under the stage name Soleima, and two years later she won the talent award at P3 Guld. Until now, Soleima has released English-language music and established herself with the album No. 14, which received heavy radio airplay, as well as two singles that landed as Ugens Uundgåelig Week on P3.

Most recently Soleima started an adventure in Danish, where the first outing from the Danish debut album 'Livet Begynder' quickly became one of the most played tracks on DR's radio channels. It was followed by 'Kanterne' (feat. Lord Siva), 'Penge På Lommen' (feat. Artigeardit) and most recently the album precursor 'Næste Side', which started 2023 with support from both P3, The Voice and Nova.

In addition to releasing several Danish singles, she has also participated in TV2's 'Toppen af Poppen' and DR's 'Min Sang til Danmark', where she enchanted participants and viewers with her distinctive vocals and honest interpretations.
